Words cannot even begin to describe the absolute shock & sadness I am feeling right now at the passing of Scott Kennedy

Scott will always remain one of my most favorite people whom I'd ever had the privilege of knowing.

When I first moved to LA, I was a little overwhelmed by everything, including being at the Hollywood Improv. Scott, who was always a fixture there, was one of the first comics to take me in and make me feel included. Since then we always remained friends.

It always made me smile when I'd see that I was working with him at a club.

And I, like so many other comics, was brought by Scott to Kuwait & Iraq to entertain the troops. An experience I will never forget and one that I wear with a badge of honor. But something I was only able to do once, Scott went over fifty times.

One story that will always personify Scott & his love for the armed forces happened as we were flying back to the states after our tour of Iraq. A "hero" (a term Scott always used when referring to a soldier) had passed away on the plane as we were in flight. Scott, without a second thought, volunteered himself to escort the soldier home if there was no one else who could do it. He never thought of any inconvenience it might cause his own travel plans (not to mention the time it would take away from his resting; something he didn't have a lot of).

Scott was a true hero, a brilliant comedian and a great friend. I'm supposed to be working with him starting tomorrow night... it will be an incredibly emotional show, I can assure you of that.

You are missed more than you'll know Scotty.

My deepest condolences are with his family right now. And Wes, please know that he was so proud of you and always brought you up in conversation whenever he could.

I love you Scott, I know right now you are definitely wearing an angels jersey.
